Macromolecular Chemistry & Physics, Wiley has published a special issue on the occosion of Prof. Yusuf Yagci’s 65th birthday. Many distingusihed scientistists contributed papers to recognize his contribution to polymer science.

Prof. Yusuf Yagci has receieved the Science & Technology award from Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) during the First Science & Technology Summit held in Astana. The award was presented by the the president of Kazakhistan, Nazarbayev.
Prof. Dr. Yusuf Yagci has been admitted as a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and entitled to use the designatory letters FRSC.
Prof. Yagci has been announced as one of the most highly prolific authors for Macromolecules (ACS) on Journal Stars website

During APME meeting in Ghent, an international soccer game was organised. The world polymer team (captain Yusuf Yagci) beat Belgian polymer team 8 - 6. Many goals scored by group member Gorkem Yilmaz.
Our former group member Eljesa Murtezi from Johannes Kepler University - Linz, Austria, has recently joined to our group again for a short period collaboration.
Former group member Abdulrahman Musa from Nigeria who completed his M.Sc. studies in Yagci Lab has been accepted for Ph.D. in King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia.
One of our group member, Mustafa Ciftci, has been selected to participate in the 67th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting as the only Ph.D. student from Turkey.
Our group member Ceren has just started PhD in Hochschule Niederrhein, University of Applied Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bernd Strehmel.
Prof. Mustapha Raihane from Cadi Ayyaz University, Morocco visited our lab for a week for the joint project supported by CNRST and Tubitak.
Phd student Radhia worked with us for 2 weeks.
